Knox County Schools Adult Education located at the Knoxville Center Mall will be closing on June 30,2016.  The last day of classes is June 3, 2016.
 
   Students wishing to enroll in classes should call the Tennessee College of Applied Technology, Knoxville Campus, at 844-323-7323.  TCAT applied for and was awarded the grant for funding Adult Education by the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development.  We wish everyone success in their future educational endeavors in obtaining a High School Equivalency Diploma.

 2016 Graduation DVD's will be available soon!
Students that attended the 2016 graduation ceremony will be contacted once the DVD's arrive for distribution.
 
All About Adult Education
The Knox County Schools Adult Education program offers instruction in Basic Skills, High School Equivalency Preparation, and English Language Learner classes (ELL) for non-native speakers of English.
 
 
Mission:
 
The mission of Knox County Schools Adult Education is:
  • to work with students to help them reach their educational goals.
  • to teach students how to educate themselves so when they complete the program they are equipped to be independent life-long learners.  
 
 
 
The program is funded through the Knox County Schools and the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development and is free of charge for students.
